Radius Pediatric Center Day School serves students ages 3-22 years and accepts outside day students. We specialize in educating students that have severe developmental disabilities and multiple medical challenges. These challenges may include compromised respiratory status, serious orthopedic limitations, neurological disorders, and complex nutritional needs.
Each classroom at Radius is staffed by a certified Special Education Teacher and at least two Teacher's Aides, all of whom are trained as Certified Nursing Assistants. Our team plays an active role in each student's life, ensuring that they have a completely rewarding educational experience in an atmosphere that is both fun and therapeutic. Our approach to learning is holistic. It is an approach that helps
each student reach their highest level of physical capabilities, cognitive and communication skills, as well as enhance their socialization and increase their awareness.
The comprehensive range of programs at Radius includes everything from music therapy to physical education to computers in the classroom with access to "Eagle Eyes," a state-of-the-art computer communication enhancement.
